It’s Live! Join AAPIP-San Francisco Bay Area Chapter for a live stream broadcast, "viewing party" and reception at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

Network with friends, founders, allies, philanthropists, social justice advocates and our partners in philanthropy and from the community throughout the Bay Area.  Meet organizers of the Devata Giving Circle, Lunar Giving Circle, Muslim Women's Giving Circle, and South Asian Giving Circle.  

  • 3:00pm Pacific:  LIGHT REFRESHMENTS
  • 4:00-5:00pm: NATIONAL SUMMIT PROGRAM - Be a part of the live stream broadcast from Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and watch live coverage from New York.  Featured webcast speakers: Gara LaMarche, Carol Larson and Danielle M. Reyes, with a keynote address from Peggy Saika live from San Francisco.
  • 5:00-7:30pm:  SF CHAPTER PROGRAM and RECEPTION

Find out how you can be a part of building democratic philanthropy and what you can do to increase support for the communities and issues you care about.  See what AAPIP has in store as a call to action for building philanthropy in our communities.  We'll look back on 20 years of progress, as well as forward to the opportunities ahead of us.

Founded in 1990, Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) is a national membership and philanthropic advocacy organization dedicated to advancing philanthropy and Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. Our members include foundations, staff and trustees of grantmaking institutions, and nonprofit organizations in ten regional chapters in the United States. AAPIP engages AAPI communities and philanthropy to address unmet needs; serves as a resource for and about AAPI communities; supports and facilitates giving by and to AAPI communities; and incubates new ideas and approaches for social justice philanthropy.
